About the event
Calling all horror lovers! Foundry Theater's very first Horror Shorts Film Festival is a FREE event highlighting some spooky short films!
Thirteen shorts will be chosen for our double feature screening on October 13, 2022 at 7 PM! Accompanying the top 13 shorts will be the premiere of Gone Where the Goblins Go, a horror film based on the work of Appalachian author William Bitner. First, Second, and Third place films will be chosen and awarded at the festival by our wonderful celebrity judges William Bitner, Tim Irr, and Justin McElroy!
Come early (doors at 6:30 PM) for an opportunity to walk the red carpet, snap some pics, and mingle with fellow filmmakers and film enthusiasts! Dressing up (cocktail attire, Halloween costumes, both?) is encouraged but not required!
Disclaimer: This is a free event open to everyone, however, some of the short films we will be showing use strong language, so this event is not recommended for children to attend.
